Types of AUTO Loading Feeder
Tape Feeder
The tape feeder is the most common standard feeder in placement machines. Traditionally, it featured four structures: Wheel, claw, pneumatic, and multi-distance electric.
Tube Feeder
Tube feeders often utilize vibration feeders to ensure that components continuously enter the chip head for placement.
Tray Feeder
Tray feeders can be categorized as single-layer or multi-layer structures. A single-layer tray feeder is directly mounted on the placement machine's feeder rack, occupying several slots but suitable for limited material types. In contrast, multi-layer tray feeders feature automatic transmission systems, taking up less space with a compact design.
Vibratory/Stick Feeder
Stick feeders are bulk feeders that load components into plastic boxes or bags through a vibrating feeder or feed pipe. This method is commonly used for MELF and small semiconductor components and is suitable only for non-polar rectangular and cylindrical components, excluding polar types.
